Possible symptoms
One-sided lower abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding or shoulder-tip pain may occur. Some people initially have no symptoms. Tell the clinician about possible pregnancy even without a positive pregnancy test.
When it is an emergency
Severe pain, dizziness or fainting may indicate internal bleeding. Seek emergency care immediately. Ultrasound and pregnancy hormone tests help diagnosis; a gynaecologist determines treatment.
