Collaborate on patient education

We welcome conversations with clinicians, pharmaceutical companies and medical technology organizations about understandable education and a better user experience.

Clinical review

Review educational accuracy, language and usability with participating clinicians.

Limited pilot

A proposed six-week usability pilot to assess finding information and using tools; subject to agreement on scope and responsibilities.

Transparent collaboration

Any sponsorship or commercial collaboration must be defined and disclosed separately. Treatment decisions remain with the treating clinician.

A 12-minute clinician walkthrough

Choose one educational pathway and language. This is a product walkthrough, not a separate sandbox or test patient account.

  1. 2 minutes: choose a language and find a relevant guide.
  2. 4 minutes: review preparation, aftercare, warning signs and sources in that guide.
  3. 4 minutes: open the app and explore nutrition, the daily coach and assessment; do not enter or send real patient information.
  4. 2 minutes: find contact and privacy information; record three usability issues.

A six-week pilot with 3–5 clinicians

The pilot starts after clinicians agree the scope, reviewers and support owner. This plan does not mean recruitment is complete or results exist.

  1. 1Agree clinicians, pathway, language and baseline
  2. 2Clinician walkthrough and clinical/language review
  3. 3Limited voluntary introduction and usability issue collection
  4. 4Review aggregate usage and usability feedback
  5. 5Fix recurring issues and repeat the usability check
  6. 6Report limitations, support time and continue/stop decision

What will we measure?

Proposed target: at least 8 of 10 testers find the guide without help. This is a target, not an observed result.

Industry discussions after the pilot

After the pilot report, we can discuss support for multilingual education, accessibility and clinical review. Scope, budget, editorial independence and sponsorship disclosure must be explicit. Individual patient data is not part of this proposal.
